WebCargo: Israeli freight management company buys out Spanish competitor
Spanish freight management company WebCargo has been acquired by Israeli Freightos and together they have become leaders in their sector.
Logicales, the systems integrator, is growing in analytics by buying Lantares and Trovus and does not rule out further acquisitions.
"Analytics is a fundamental element of the SMAC model, providing the practical insight essential to driving innovation in the organisation and gaining a competitive advantage from disparate data," Logicalis says. As evidence of this, in May, both the Spanish and UK divisions made acquisitions in the big data analytics sector.
Fast track innovation call to support the market introduction of innovative solutions will be launched soon.
Fast track innovation is a grant within the H2020 framework, to finance activities of commercialisation of products but also services, processes and business models, carried out between 3 and 5 entities from at least 3 EU countries or associated members. This grant started in 2015, with 3 calls per year and in 2016 has followed the same plan. The last call will open in October.
