The MAB, a means to close acquisitions?
MAB companies have started the new year with growth. Some, such as Eurona Wireless, have carried out capital increases in order to finance acquisitions, while others, such as Agile Content, have announced the purchase of companies. In addition, Inkemia has increased its shareholdings in its group companies through capital increases.
Eurona Wireless raises capital to finance the purchases made

Eurona Wireless, a telecommunications company specialising in satellite and WiFi services, is planning a capital increase in order to raise cash to finance the four acquisitions it announced in August: Quantis, Sultan Telecom, Hablaya and Stonework. These four acquisitions will allow it to increase its size fivefold.

Eurona already indicated at the time of the purchases that part would be paid in cash and part in shares through a capital increase, with the foreseeable waiver of pre-emptive rights to facilitate the entry of institutional investors.

Eurona wants to attract investors from European countries such as the UK and Germany.

Inkemia, increases its stake in its investees

Inkemia, which is listed on the Mab has increased capital in its group companies: Leanbio, PharmaMel, and Recerca Clínica through IUCT Empren, the InKemia group's entrepreneurship and investee companies division.

These capital increases will help these companies to grow in the market by developing and improving their business.

Inkemia generates knowledge of high technological value to support industries in the field of life sciences.

PharmaMel, develops cosmetic and health products in the field of cellular ageing and their application on the skin.

Leanbio is a company based on the development of biological products aimed primarily at the biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and related industries.

Recerca Clínica is a Contract Research Organization (RC CRO) that provides a complete service in the development of pharmaceutical clinical trials both nationally and internationally.

Acquisitions are still expected among Mab companies: Agile

In addition to the recent purchase of Pepephone and Yoigo Agile has this week announced its intention to buy Adman Interactive, S.L. and the rest of the group's companies in France, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil and the United States.

Adman, is a company AdTech, specialises in video advertising, with a strong presence in the Latin American and Southern European markets. It maximises media advertising revenues and in turn helps advertisers get the most out of their campaigns.

With this operation, Agile consolidates its position as a group specialised in online video monetisation and digital TV, leader in the Latin American market.

Agile already bought the company a few months ago OTTN, which strengthened its position on the subscriber side, Adman will now strengthen its position on the advertising side.
