The Emprendetur 2015 call for proposals opens
 
Those wishing to apply for the Emprendetur grant, which aims to support innovative product projects within the national integrated tourism plan, must do so before 27 July. This aid is divided into two sub-programmes, Emprendetur R&D and Emprendetur Development.

 

Objectives of Emprendetur R&D&I and Emprendetur development

Support research and development applied to products in the tourism sector.

 Strengthen R&D&I processes in the tourism sector.

Promote the development of innovative tourism products that improve the competitiveness and profitability of the Spanish tourism sector.

Facilitate companies' access to innovative developments for the improvement of their tourism products in order to internationalise them.

Characteristics of the aid

Loans of up to 75% of the budget at an interest rate of 0.54% (not exceeding EUR 1 million or the company's credited net worth figure at the time of application).

Amortisation over 5 years, including a 2-year grace period.

The total budget of the call is EUR 10 million (EUR 5 million for each line).

Energy and sustainability.

Materials and construction.

Humanities, society and legal sciences

Transport and Associated Services.

Business management.

Eligible items

Staff costs.

Depreciation of instruments and inventories.

Costs of contractual research, know-how and patents acquired or licensed from external sources at market rates. Subcontracting shall not exceed 50% of the budget.

Overheads (maximum 10 % of personnel costs)

Other operating expenditure: materials, supplies and similar products.
