Dyrecto Sinesis is born to finance innovation
Dyrecto Sinesis with €8.8M is the first private fund in Spain and was created to finance private entrepreneurs in the Canary Islands.
This new financing channel has been made possible thanks to the contributions of Canarian entrepreneurs and the ICO. In addition to this aid, entrepreneurs can also access €650M to develop their activity through the different lines of financing promoted by both public and private bodies.
Clave Mayor and UPV raise venture capital fund
The Polytechnic University of Valencia and Clave Mayor have launched a €6M fund to finance technology transfer projects in their laboratories.
This new fund will focus on projects in very early stages but with great growth potential, which is a great step forward for the development of R&D in our country, as it is currently difficult to find funding for this type of project.
European Investment Fund and Inveready launch new fund to finance R&D
The European Fund for Strategic Investments and the risk capital fund Inveready Venture Finance have signed an agreement to provide guarantees worth €6.6m.
This fund focuses on the technology sector and, in particular, specialises in companies that are starting to grow but do not have access to bank financing. For EU spokesman Margaritis Schinas, who unveiled the initiative, it "fills an important gap in this market".
Carlos Conti, CEO of Inveready Venture Finance, expressed his satisfaction at having the support of the fund, which, he said, aims to "access a greater number of companies more focused on working intensively on R&D".
