The group Econova has closed a financing round with private investors. The funds raised will allow the group to complete the biomass supply project to a German energy group. Econova has been advised by ABRA INVEST for the successful completion of the operation.
Econova, a Catalan group owned by its directors, focuses on renewable energies and the environment, basing its growth on the business application of efficient and innovative environmental and energy solutions.
Through a recently created subsidiary, Econova has signed with E.ON France Power a multi-year contract for the supply of agricultural and forestry biomass for an overall amount of 40 million euros. This contract is part of the French government's policy of promoting renewable energies. The biomass will be certified as available and will be consumed in a thermal power plant located in Provence, France.
