8fit, AlientVault, Metrikea: tech startups receive funding in August.
An international study of Spanish startups abroad carried out by the consultancy firm Keyprocom and Ticketbis reveals that 29% of Spanish tech start-ups have an international turnover of more than 60%. Several of these companies are becoming strong in their sector and are receiving support from investors, such as 8Fit, AlientVault and have received funding in August.

8FIT, the app that allows you to exercise from home has received a €2.5M round, led by Mark Evans, partner of Balderton Carpital, in which also participated Arthur Kosten of Booking.com, Carles Puyol, former FC Barcelona player, a group of business angels and Vitamika K, which last June had already made a €200,000 round in the company.

Since its launch 8fit has grown from 25% to 50% every month, currently reaching 850,000 users and ranking among the Top 50 health and wellness apps and among the top 1,000 overall iOS apps.

AlientVault, which has already raised $116M, along with Spanish companies such as MScytl, Peertransfer, Chartboost and Redbooth, are an example of the strength that Spanish technology companies are gaining by setting up in the US.
