Which European companies are being supported by investors?
We have analysed the largest investment rounds in European companies in the last 7 days. The 10 deals have been distributed between 3 countries, France with 5 deals is the country that has benefited the most. Among the sectors being invested in are the internet of things, energy efficiency and online marketing software.
Company that has received the most investment

InnoGames is a developer and publisher of browser-based and mobile games based in Hamburg, Germany. Founded in 2007, the round just received was the second round closed by the company. This round was led by Switzerland-based MTG, which bought 35% from lnnogames for €90M, giving the company a valuation of €260M. MTG also has the option to buy 17% from the company at the same valuation by September 2017.

The round will allow InnoGames to move into the mobility market, where more than half of InnoGames' new subscribers are located. To grow in this sector, in March it bought Funatics Software.

Investment for the internet of things

One of the sectors in which we have detected several operations in the internet of things. PragmatIC Printing, makes ultra-thin, low-cost, flexible microcircuits for embedding in mass-market objects and packaging to get real-time information about the environment. The company, founded in 2016, received a $$8.1M round in 2015 and an £18M round in 2006.

The latest round has been led by Avery Dennison, one of the largest companies in the USA for labelling and packaging technology and radio frequency identification.

The other company that has received investment this week is Smartfrog, a cloud service or app to control your home from your mobile phone. Investors who had previously backed the company participated in the round: e.Ventures and Global Target. A number of family offices have also participated.

This company founded in 2015 has already received a total of 26.48M.
