The Emplea 2016 call for applications was opened on 4 April 2016, grants for the recruitment of technologists to carry out R&D&I activities and will be open until 4 May 2016.
Eligibility requirements:
SMEs with a validly constituted establishment in Spain may apply for this aid.
The person recruited must be a university graduate or a graduate of higher vocational training, who carries out R&D&I activities.
No more than two grants of aid may be awarded per beneficiary undertaking.
Technologists may not have held an employment contract with the applicant company in the 12 months prior to the publication of the call for applications and may not have been previously hired through an employment contract with Emplea or Incorpora aid.
Recruitment must be full-time and exclusively for R&D&I activities.
Eligible items
Expenses derived from the contracting of technologists. This cost includes the gross remuneration and the employer's social security contributions received during the period of implementation of the aid.
Grants will be awarded in full annual instalments, coinciding with the period of implementation of the grant. This will have a duration of 3 consecutive and uninterrupted years.
The gross annual remuneration for each year of the performance period may not be less than €19,000 if the contract is for a university graduate and €15,000 in the case of a non-university graduate.
Type of aid
The subsidy will be a maximum of 65% of the eligible items, and may reach 75% if the activity carried out by the technologist takes place in one of these communities: Andalusia, Canary Islands, Castilla la Mancha, Ceuta, Extremadura, Melilla and Murcia.
