Adea corporate finance analysis

Adea is the leading document management company in Spain, which since its foundation in 1999, provides analysis and consultancy services that cover from the preliminary study of the client's document circuit, to the integral design, implementation and maintenance of the document management processes that are necessary for its correct operation.

It currently has almost 300 professionals at its service in its centres in Madrid, Guadalajara, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Zaragoza, Bogotá (Colombia), Oporto (Portugal) and Montijo (Portugal).

In 2012, Indra sold Adea to Atlas Capital At that time the company had a turnover of around €10.7M and an ebitda of €3.4M. Since then, the company has implemented an organic and inorganic growth plan, supported by venture capital. They have opened offices in Colombia and have expanded their facilities in both Spain and Portugal. In 2017, the time has come to grow inorganically and they have bought first the Zaragoza company Logisman and now SDM. The company Logismas is also focused on document storage and management.

"The entry of Atlas Capital and its subsequent growth plan for the company has allowed the company to increase its revenues by 80%, from €11M in 2011 to €20M in 2017," says Diego Gutierre, corporate finance expert at Abra-Invest.
