Zucchetti is an Italian company, based in Lodi, that produces software solutions, hardware and services for companies, banks, insurance companies, professionals and trade associations. Zucchetti Spain has a turnover of 16 million euros, 220 employees and more than 2,200 customers. The Italian group has a turnover of 850 million euros, 6,000 employees and 600,000 customers; and has its own companies in SpainFrance, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Romania, Bulgaria, Brazil, UK and USA.
Arión Grupo BAS Software Factory was founded in 1991 by professionals from the technological and consultancy fields, with a total of 20 employees. Its activity has been mainly focused on the development, installation and maintenance of Human Resources solutions with an outstanding presence in the national market. Its human resources solutions include payroll management and personnel administration, which have already been implemented by the Junta de Castilla y León and companies such as Barceló and Adecco.
The Italian software company entered the Spanish market four years ago with the incorporation of Solmicro, which later became Zucchetti Spain. Two years later, it acquired IDS Ingeniería de Sistemas and i68, and integrated them into the group.
On 13 October, the Italian management software group Zucchetti acquired, through its Spanish subsidiary Zucchetti Spain, the 100% of Arión, a company specialising in payroll and human resources. This is Zucchetti Spain's first acquisition outside the Basque Country. The objective of the acquisition, which is part of its strategic plan, is to continue to grow in the Spanish market and strengthen the group's growth bases.
