Kibo ventures and VitaminaK invest in iContainers
iContainersis a spin-off of the family company Maitsa, which compares freight transport prices.
The investment round it has received from Kibo Ventures and Vitamin K 1.3m and is intended to support the company's international expansion.
Already in 2008, it had raised €700,000 from Octapris Investments and several business angels and at the end of 2008 the Romeu Group became a shareholder.
Glovo has received €140,000 in its first round of funding
Glovo is a mobile app that connects users who need to buy, ship or pick up a product with people who are willing to do that service for a fixed fee. According to Glovo, this service is 30 % cheaper to measure than traditional courier companies.
Glovo has already provided more than 300 services since its launch 7 months ago and on 19 February it won the #BCNstartupsNetworks by Wayra competition as the best pitch of the night.
Last January Glovo was one of the eleven start-ups selected by the accelerator Conector for its acceleration programme.
Hubbl chosen by Connector for its acceleration programme
Hubbl is an e-commerce parcel delivery service.. It is a service that is provided to the user, so that it can be used with any online shop regardless of the transport company that the online shop has.
Hubbl stores orders in its own warehouse for delivery according to customer availability from 6 p.m. to 12 p.m. every day of the week., and with 10 days to arrange delivery in 1-hour intervals.
The service has a tracking code for the package and costs 4€.. For those who are willing to pay a little more to receive the package at a certain time during extended hours, this is a good option.
