valantic and Saptools Consulting have announced the agreement whereby the consulting and implementation specialist becomes part of the German valantic group. Baker Tilly Advisory Services advised the valantic team on the acquisition.
Through this transaction, valantic takes a bold step towards securing the top position in the European consulting market for SAP Digital Supply Chain and S/4HANA. Valantic, a company specialising in digital consulting, solutions and software, strategically advances its global expansion by welcoming Saptools, a distinguished SAP specialist from Spain, into its corporate fold. The integration positions them as one of the leading end-to-end consulting and implementation firms in the European landscape.
Target: Saptools Consulting S.L.
Saptools is a consultancy firm founded more than 20 years ago in Barcelona with offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and Bilbao and now opening a new office in Paris. It has a broad portfolio of top-level clients, mainly from the food and beverage industry, the oil and gas sector, the chemical and pharmaceutical industry and the rest of the consumer goods segment. Notable clients include Danone, Repsol, Coca-Cola and Beam Suntory, among others.
The firm has more than 100 professionals who have collaborated on national and international projects from Rio de Janeiro and Miami to Tunisia and Prague. Founded in 2003 by José Verdú, Saptools is currently managed by a Board of Directors formed by him and three other partners: Jorge Lozano, Jaime Bombí and Roberto Mella. Saptools holds the coveted status of SAP Partner and SAP Expert Partner in Supply Chain Management and Integrated Business Planning. The management team will continue to lead the management of the company and strengthen the valantic brand and its human capital.
"In recent years, we have expanded our dominance in SAP Digital Supply Chain in our markets. We have achieved great recognition among customers and competitors, and we are increasingly successful on the international stage. We have a reputation for doing things right, but we felt we needed more strength to seize the moment and take our company to the next level: in terms of capability and brand visibility, while providing opportunities for advancement for our professionals (current and upcoming). We believe that with valantic we have found a kindred spirit in our fields and the leverage that will propel us together to become the European leader. By joining forces, we will be strong enough to go further and faster, with the same reliability and way of doing things that we have today".
José Verdu, Saptools founder and CEO
Investor: valantic GmbH
Headquartered in Munich (Germany), valantic has developed in just a few years into one of the leading providers of medium-sized digital solutions. With its more than 2,000 IT consultants, the company offers consulting and implementation services in the areas of digitalisation consulting and business analytics, customer experience management (CX), supply chain management and logistics, next-generation enterprise resource planning and financial services automation.
"With the colleagues from Saptools, we gain a new member to the valantic family whose experience and culture are an excellent fit with our own and who have shaped the Spanish SAP consulting market from day one. Saptools' proven experience in international business transformation projects based on SAP IBP and S/4HANA technology platforms is a valuable addition to valantic's SAP division. Unlike most vendors in the market, we can now offer our customers a truly integrated SAP services portfolio with more than 1,000 highly qualified consultants and developers, and take the lead in supporting their SAP-based transformation. We are also laying the best possible foundation to address the growing pool of excellently trained Spanish IT professionals with a strong, value-oriented employer brand."
