The call, which will have a budget similar to last year's, around €68M, will be organised in two phases this year: In the first phase, projects will be selected and in the second phase, a decision will be taken on the grant to be awarded to those projects which, having been selected in the first phase, meet all the requirements of the programme. Applications for the first phase can be submitted until 7 April.
What is Hazitek?
Programme to support the implementation of industrial research or experimental development projects, both competitive and strategic in nature and in the areas indicated by the Science, Technology and Innovation Plan, Euskadi 2020, within the framework of the Smart Specialisation Strategy (RIS3): Energy, advanced manufacturing, and biosciences - health.
Who can receive aid?
Companies (large companies and SMEs).
Groupings and Associations of companies.
Agents of the Basque Technology and Innovation Network.
Type of aid:
Non-repayable grant. Up to 25% of the eligible costs for competitive industrial research or technological development projects and up to 40% of the eligible costs for strategic projects.
Example of a company selected in the previous call: Izertis
An example of a company that has been a beneficiary of the Hazitek 2016 call is Izertis. The aid was earmarked for the FEEDBACK project: Multiplatform cloud computing for the promotion of sustainable energy habits in households through the periodic provision of personalised consumption reports.
