Rounds in Startups related to the world of medicine
Online medical prescription is a startup that connects doctors with their patients to renew their prescriptions online. It has just received an investment round of €100,000 in which a group of doctors, pharmacists and business angels have participated, with the aim of supporting the construction of a platform.
Clinic PointClinic Point, better known by its former name Medprive, markets private medicine over the Internet. Clinic Point, which has grown considerably in the last 3 years, has now received €1 million to face future challenges throughout this year. Cabiedes & Partners and Faraday Venture Partners have participated in this round.
Psious, a pioneer in psychological treatments based on Virtual Reality, has closed its first seed round, worth $1.05m, which can be increased to €1.5m.
Top Doctors, a directory of doctors and care facilities, has closed a €1.1 million round of funding led by Inveready y Fons Enginyers, del Col.legi d’Enginyers de Catalunya.
"The aim of this round is to be able to address the internalisation of the company. Currently, in addition to integrating more than 4,000 specialists in Spain with whom appointments can be arranged, it has a presence in Mexico and the US, through its partner Castle Connolly Medical," says Diego Gutierrez of Abra-invest.
IOT as a protagonist
Carriots is a horizontal cloud platform for the development of Internet of Things (IoT) related project solutions that enables the collection of data from connected objects, their storage, and the building of applications with few lines of code for potential integration with external systems.
Carriots has received funding from de Suez and the CDTI to finance the strong growth the company is experiencing as well as to promote the new R&D developments it is working on.
Zolertia is a startup dedicated to the development of products for the Internet of Things, which has just made an initial investment of 300,000 euros with the aim of exponentially increasing the audience for its new product, the Re-Mote, worldwide.
Funding rounds in APPS
Wayook, plataforma especializada en la reserva de servicios domésticos de confianza y por horas ha recibido 640.000 € por parte de Axon Partners Group.
Drinkets is presented as an app for the pre-sale of tickets, drinks and bottles for nightclubs. The app has been running for some time in Barcelona where it has achieved more than 10,000 downloads and is present in 20 clubs in the city. Now the app has been launched in Madrid and has launched Drinkets PromDrinkets, the solution focused on nightlife developers. Drinkets has received €150,000 in funding from FFF and public funding.
Stampydoo is an application designed so that businesses can reward the loyalty of their customers, which has received the support of Antai Ban for €700,000.

Winko Games, is a game development studio from Barcelona that has received $1.4M from investors such as London Venture Partners, Initial Capital and Kibo Ventures.
