We have seen that Capgemini is an active buyout firm. In the over the last 10 years, the group has carried out 25 acquisitions., which equates to an average of 2 or 3 acquisitions per year. That's why in this post we are going to expose his last five company acquisitions, starting from the most recent one:

1. Doing

Capgemini announced on 9 October 2018 that it had acquired Doing, a digital agency full-service digital services provider based in Italy. This important acquisition, for which the amounts involved are not known, further expands the group's digital services offering in Italy.

Founded in 2015 by the merger of Dnsee, Hagakure and Banzai Consulting, Doing includes three divisions: Technology, Content & Media and Insight & Expertise. With a team of over 200 people, located mainly in Milan and Rome, it supports more than 50 clients across the entire digital value chain, from service and business design to development and maintenance. Key customers include ALD Automotive, L'Oreal and Lavazza.

"Doing is a well-known digital agency in the Italian market, which will maintain its characteristics both in the relationship with clients and in the delivery approach. Its portfolio of services integrates perfectly with our value chain in the digital environment and this will allow us to strengthen our role as a full-line partner to accompany our clients in their digital transformation. Our employees will be stimulated by this new drive towards innovation," said Andrea Falleni, CEO of Capgemini Italy.

2. Leidos Cyber

Leidos Cyber (Reston, Virginia) is a FORTUNE 500 company offering IT solutions and services, being pioneer in the field of cybersecurity. 31,000 people make up the company's workforce, which has a turnover of about annual revenue of approximately 10.17 billion USD for the financial year ended 29 December 2017.

On 7 June 2018 we learned of the sale of the company The process was not completed until the end of the year. The amounts of the transaction have not been disclosed by either party.

3. LiquidHub

Capgemini announced on February 5, 2018 the acquisition of LiquidHub, a digital signature of commitment to the client which specialises in the development and delivery of engaging customer experiences.

Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Philadelphia, LiquidHub counts among its clients industry leaders especially in financial services, healthcare and science. With estimated revenues of €200 million in 2017, this latest addition to the Capgemini group was fully aligned with Capgemini's growth plans focused on Digital & Cloud in North America.

This acquisition strengthened Capgemini's digital consulting capabilities in North America and accelerated portfolio change in the region. User experience designers, digital architects and analytics specialists joined Capgemini's digital teams to create experiences that help attract, acquire and retain customers.

4. Lyons Consulting Group

Founded in 2003, LYONSCG is a company which provides global and digital trade services. Its capabilities include digital strategy, experience design and e-commerce implementation. With over 300 people in North America and the UK, LYONSCG is one of the largest independent digital commerce companies.

The company has extensive experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and other commerce platforms. LYONSCG has received numerous awards for its excellent customer work, as well as partner awards for excellence. Two years ago it was named the "2017 Salesforce Commerce Cloud Global Delivery Partner of the Year" by the better customer implementations and support levels..

All this attractive information was also attractive to Capgemini, which on 20 September 2017 acquired the company in a transaction for which the amounts are unknown.

5. ITELIOS SAS

Finally, on 23 March 2017, we learned of the acquisition of Itelios, a consulting firm specialising in connected commerce. Founded in 2003, with a presence in France, the United States and Brazil, Itelios is a leading Salesforce Commerce Cloud provider and has completed numerous omni-channel projects for clients in the business-to-consumer (B2C) space. In 2016 and 2017, Itelios achieved "Great Place to Work" recognition in France.

Itelios strengthened Capgemini Group's digital customer experience portfolio with its expertise in designing and implementing integrated omni-channel solutions. This acquisition enabled Capgemini to meet the growing client demand for its end-to-end digital services, positioning it as the leader in Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

 "Capgemini will provide Itelios with the right environment and scale to leverage and extend our existing skills and delivery capabilities, to expand into new regions and to propose a set of services needed to operate omni-channel platforms for our clients," said Christophe Claudel, CEO of Itelios.
