NUB3D, is a Spanish startup that develops measurement systems using 3D scanning by structured white light capable of enabling automated quality control inspection.

Nub3D was founded in 1999 by Fernando Campo, Jorge Rodríguez and Carlos Camí in Catalonia. In 2012, FitalentEveris' venture capital fund, invested 400,000 euros in the company. The Barcelona-based company currently has an annual turnover of just under €1m and more than 15 employees.
Nub3D, which has been acquired for an undisclosed amount by ABB, will be integrated into ABB's robotics and motion division. Nub3D's products are used in automated inspection and quality control systems by steel and aluminium fabricators and processors, sheet metal stampers, mould and die makers during plastic metal forming, and by the automotive, goods and equipment industries, etc. The Barcelona-based company has an annual turnover of just under €1m and employs more than 15 people.
