We analyse the purchase of companies in the network and telecommunications infrastructure management sector from the point of view of the corporate finance. Nunsys, a Spanish company offering integrated ICT solutions, has purchased the 100% from Hermes Ingeniería for an undisclosed sum. With the operation, Nunsys integrates the entire workforce of Hermes Ingeniería, consisting of seven employees.
Hermes Ingeniería, more than 20 years as a global integrator of ICT solutions
Hermes Engineering, based in Valencia, is an ICT solutions provider specialising in the design, installation, implementation and maintenance of network and telecommunications infrastructure. With a staff of seven employees and more than 20 years behind them, they have managed to specialise in CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) technology.
They are also a leading company in Call Centres and Switchboards, offering solutions for telephone and communications services to companies and organisations throughout Spain. Service stoppages (voice or data) can lead to economic losses for any company and Hermes Ingeniería wanted to investigate this problem. They develop an immediate service of voice solutions (telephone switchboards, VoIP, Call Center, Recorders) for their clients.
Although they have the capacity to create their own technological solutions, Hermes decided to rely on Avaya. This private company specialises in the telephony and call centre sector. In 2013 it certified Hermes as the first and only partner with SME Expert qualification in Spain, the first to achieve this in Iberia.
Nunsys acquires Hermes Engineering in its entirety
The technology company Nunsys continues its growth strategy with the acquisition of 100% from Hermes Ingeniería. This move was made official on 8 October 2018, although the amount of the transaction has not been made public.
Nunsys was founded in 2008 and has grown exponentially with a business model that integrates organic and inorganic growth. The acquisition of Hermes allows Nunsys to continue with its strategy of expanding its integral offer of technological services for its client companies, where it expects to exceed 30 million euros in business and 400 jobs this year, after buying the Tissat data centre.
For their part, the seven employees of Hermes Ingeniería have joined the Valencian group based in the Paterna Technology Park.
