IT Services: XDuce buys Sans Computing

The IT services sector is a very broad sector that encompasses many other branches of industry. At Baker Tilly we wanted to make this post where we will focus on the most important acquisition according to Crunchbase criteria, having filtered it by sector, both companies (acquired and acquirer), and then draw a list of operations.

In this case, the most important acquisition in the IT Services and Infromation Services sectors is that made by XDuce, which it bought from SANS Computing on 9 July.

XDuce in the IT Services sector

Xduce in the IT Services sector

XDuce is a global provider of software development, systems integration and staffing services. The company has extensive experience and proven capabilities in business transformation, digital transformation, business application implementation and integration services.

It has also won several awards from leading companies in the industry, such as Oracle or Goldman SachsThe Bank's investment banking business is well known.

SANS Computing

The SANS concept consists of superior sourcing and assessment of qualified candidates by professionals with substantial experience in software development and data processing. With SANS, client companies benefit from technical expertise combined with placement experience that few other agencies can offer. For its part, SANS Computing is a New York-based specialist in such IT staffing services.

Benefits of purchase

XDuce's majority stake in SANS Consulting will further strengthen XDuce's footprint and its ability to provide IT services to clients. With this acquisition, both companies will be able to leverage service delivery capabilities and domain expertise. According to Jay Dave, president and CEO of XDuce, with his company's global delivery capability coupled with SANS Computing's market penetration, customers can expect to partner with a highly professional global support team with deep expertise in all major national markets and industry verticals.

Finally, given the difficult situation that businesses are currently experiencing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this acquisition by XDuce will also help meet the needs of customers as never before. This is because customers require the services of a global organisation with effective delivery teams and significant resources to meet their needs on a national level, a criterion that XDuce meets with the recent acquisition.
