Global Omnium is a Valencian company that offers water management services in our country. Currently, this company has more than 5.5 million customers, is present throughout Spain in more than 300 cities, and also in several countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Global Omnium has made a great effort in recent years to offer innovative technological services. A few months ago, it received an award at the Water Innovation Europe conference in the Digital Water category for the optimisation and saving of water resources through the application of advanced big data techniques.
Global Omnium is in the process of expansion. In 2015 it had a turnover of €259M, which is 10% more than the previous year. The company has an Ebitda of €79M.
About Ensai Solutions
Ensai Solutions is a technology services company specialising in systems integration and the development of high-performance industrial software.
Ensai brings Global Omnium, a wide experience in the industrial world outside the commercial water cycle, with experience in the implementation of its Nexus platform in sectors such as automotive, ceramics and agri-food. Among the services it offers are: monitoring and control systems, business intelligence, big data systems and customised software design.
Global Omnium acquires Ensai Solutions and creates Core Digital Industry 4.0 Industrial Solutions Company
Global Omnium has bought the 80% from Ensai Solutions and has created a new company specialised in offering technological solutions in the field of Industry 4.0.
This operation reinforces the strategic digital transformation plan that Global Omnium initiated more than five years ago, the objective of which is both the implementation of new management technologies at corporate level and also to offer the solutions, products and knowledge generated to the water sector itself and, in general, to the rest of the industrial fabric.
Although Global Omnium already had experience in the water technology sector, this acquisition allows it to diversify its business into other sectors.
Global Omnium was already a customer of Ensai Solutions before this operation. The process of integration into the group has been natural, culminating a collaboration of nearly five years. The two initial partners of Ensai, Pablo Alcoriza and Salvador Herrando, also maintain an ownership stake and are actively involved in the management of Core.
