Ranking of the most active sectors
In the top 10, ICT-related sectors such as e-commerce, cloud, software and "web content" received 54% of the amount invested in venture capital. In the first half of 2014, large transactions were carried out in ICT-related companies.
Among them is the round that has received Dropbox of 350M$, among the investors we know that there are Blackrock.
The Berliner Delivery hero has also received two rounds of 88M$ and 85M$ in H1 2014 for its global online food ordering platform.
At Analytics and Finance we excel in the application of analytical technology to the financial sector. For example, the German Kreditech has received 40M$ to apply big data to credit scoring, as has London-based Nutmeg to manage investments online received 32M$ in June 2014.
