Embracer Group, based in Sweden, is the parent company of companies that develop and publish PC and console games for the global gaming market. The company has, in recent years, bought a large number of video game companies (from developers such as 4A Games to conglomerates such as the Koch Media group). 

Quantic Lab, based in Romania, provides QA services for game platforms ranging from consoles to mobile devices, with testing services for the full game production cycle, including but not limited to localisation testing, gameplay testing and UX/UI experience testing. Quantic Lab has extensive experience working with leading publishers and developers within the gaming industry, providing QA services both in shorter critical project phases and in a long-standing partnership from pre-production to launch with post-release quality testing. 

After the buyQuantic Lab will continue to operate as an independent software outsourcing and game quality assurance company directly under Embracer. Quantic Lab complements Embracer's strategy of partnering within the industry, including contract work and partner publishing.
