Due to the good performance of the Fondico Global fund of funds two years ago, ICO has decided to increase the FOND-ICO Global endowment by €300M, from €1,200M to €1,500M.

The news comes at the same time as the resolution of the fifth FondiGlobal call, which has benefited 6 fund managers.
FOND-ICO Global's investment in the six selected funds will reach a maximum of €121M, of which €100M will go to two Expansion Capital funds, €12.85M to two Venture Capital funds and €7.74M to two Incubation funds. For their part, the successful candidates in this 5th call will invest a minimum of €606M in Spain.

Fondico enables €3.2 billion to be raised for Spanish companies
This is Fondico's fifth call since its opening in 2013, benefiting 35 funds for a total amount of €876M.
The fifth call was launched last summer with €154M. A sixth call will be considered before the end of the year, taking into account the market situation and the turnout of the fifth call.
The funds selected in the five calls made to date will invest around €3.2 billion in Spanish companies, out of a total of more than €10 billion, which is the target to be raised by the selected funds, both in Spain and abroad.
