The energy recovery waste management is a sector in growth driven by (i) A pressure regulation to reduce the use of landfills and promote material and energy recovery and recovery alternatives (ii) In the face of external energy dependence; it is necessary to seek new sources internal generation. (iii) In Spain we are far from the European average.
The company has patented together with the UPV a "Spouted bed" reactor mainly oriented to the energetic recovery of end-of-life tyres. (NFU), plastics and biomass. Among others, it provides the following advantages: (i) Higher calorific value (ii) Lower investment and maintenance cost (iii) Produces a fuel that can be used without further treatment in cogeneration machines (iv) Does not generate polluting solid waste (v) Allows greater heterogeneity and larger size of the waste to be processed (vi) Works continuously allowing greater optimisation of the industrial process.
The team which manages the company is made up of managers with more than 20 years' experience in the energy sector in general and in the cogeneration sector in particular, and of the professors who have been involved in the research that has given rise to the patents.
