Blinkfire Analytics, is a startup based in Valencia and Chicago that measures the media impact of visual content through artificial vision technology.
Blinkfire Analytics provides a platform that enables professional sports clubs, players and sports agents to track the number and quality of advertising impacts of sponsorships on social media.
Founded in 2013, in 2014 it received its first round of €900,000 from US investors such as Foundry Group Angels, Maiden Lane Ventures, Plug and Play USA and Jim Adamczyk (ex-CTO of Accenture Software) and Spanish investors such as ex-CTO of Telefónica I+D Carlos Domingo and Plug and Play España.
Currently, the Valencian company has a team of 20 people and a hundred clients around the world and has agreements with La Liga and other clubs from Serie A, the Premier League, the NBA and Major League Soccer (MLS).
Blinkfire closes €1.34M round
Blinkfire has recently closed another €1.34M round. Although the company has been above breakeven for several months, the firm's management decided to seek funding to accelerate growth in certain strategic areas with investors who truly trust and believe in their mission: to optimise the sponsorship market and help both parties (buyers and sellers) to improve their decisions in real time.
Investors in the round include Harrison Metal (seed investor in AdMob and MoPub), Dick Costolo (ex-CEO of Twitter and FeedBurner) and Andreas Mihalovits.

Hookit, is an American company that measures the value of sports advertising across multiple social and digital platforms by analysing overall engagement, including mentions, hashtags and brand logos. It does this by using image recognition tools within photos and videos.
This company, founded in 2001, has received a total of 3 rounds for an amount of $17M. The latest round was closed in 2017. It has renowned investors such as Arrowroot Capital, a venture capital fund focused on the software sector.
Also Block Six Analytics has recently received a round of investment ($1.83M). The American company offers the management of sponsorships, campaigns, ticket purchases, events and invoicing on a single platform. Investors include both venture capital and private equity funds.
