CreativeDrive acquires Decora
15 MAR 2018 CreativeDrive, empresa con sede en EEUU dedicada a la creación de contenido para moda y la decoración, ha adquirido la empresa brasileña Decora, que se especializa en la creación de escenarios de decoración en 3D, por $100M.
Based in Florianópolis, Decora automates the creation of 3D product models and scenarios that are used by e-commerces. In this way, customers can create environments and edit, add, delete and modify images dynamically on the platform itself.
Didi Chuxing acquires 99Taxis
03 JAN 2018 The Chinese company Didi Chuxingwhich develops and manages an urban transport and mobility platform, has acquired control of the Brazilian company 99Taxisin the same sector. The value of the purchase is approximately $600M.
The deal includes the acquisition of stakes in Riverwood Capital, Monashees Capital, Qualcomm Ventures, Tiger Global Management and SoftBank, as well as an equity injection in 99Taxis.
Movile receives $82M
08 DEC 2017 Movile, desarrollador de productos y servicios de interactividad móvil, ha recibido una inyección de capital de $82M de parte de dos de sus inversores, el grupo global de Internet y entretenimiento Naspers y el fondo de inversión con sede en Brasil Innova Capital.
One of the main objectives of the injection will be to increase the company's stake in iFood, a food delivery company with a strong presence in Latin America.
This is the second round Movile has closed in 2017. In June, the company received $53M from Naspers and Innova to invest in its shipping, ticketing and education segments.
Accor completes acquisition of BHG
22 NOV 2017 Accor, compañía hotelera con sede en Francia, a través de Hotelaria Accor Brasil, ha adquirido la plataforma de gestión hotelera BHG, con sede en Brasil, por BRL200M.
With the transaction, Accor will manage 17 hotels in the hands of BHG, which will invest around BRL300M over the next four years in the renovation and repositioning of the 17 units that will progressively receive Accor flags.

Aloo Telecom receives $75M
28 AUG 2017 Aloo Telecom, empresa de telecomunicaciones con sede en Brasil, ha recibido $75M del fondo de capital riesgo Cartesian Capital Group, con sede en Brasil, a cambio de una participación del 33,8%.
Aloo Telecom, founded in 2003 in Alagoas, has more than 3,000 corporate clients in the public and private sectors, already covering 14 states.
Telefónica Brazil acquires Terra Networks Brazil
03 JUL 2017 Telefónica Brasil ha adquirido, a través de su filial Telefónica Data, la participación de SP Telecomunicações en Terra Networks Brazil. The value of the deal amounts to BRL250M.
Terra Networks Brazil manages the Terra portal and provides digital and advertising services. The objective of this operation is to expand and integrate Telefónica Data's commercial offering of digital services.
Boston Scientific acquires Symetis
15 MAY 2017 Boston Scientific, empresa estadounidense especializada en el desarrollo de soluciones del sector de la salud, ha adquirido Symetis, un fabricante de válvulas aórticas. El valor de la transacción es de $435M.
Symetis is a Brazilian company focused on minimally invasive transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) devices, which recently acquired Acurate, a company that also specialises in the production of aortic valves.
The purchase allows Symetis to become part of the Boston Scientific Interventional Cardiology division, which will immediately begin selling Acurate valve systems in Europe and other countries outside the US.
99Taxis receives a capital injection of $100M
05 JAN 2017 The Sao Paulo-based technology company, 99Taxishas received a $100M capital injection from Didi Chuxing (China), Riverwood Capital (US), Tiger Global (US) and US-based Qualcomm Ventures, and Brazil-based fund Monashees.
99Taxis, founded in 2012, is an online taxi ordering platform. The startup is active in 550 cities in Brazil.
Didi Chuxing will provide strategic support and advice in the areas of technology, product development, operations and business planning.
