In October 2025, Business Software Group (BSG), a leading industrial software group specialising in software solutions for businesses, announced the acquisition of Extra Software, a long-standing Spanish company and benchmark in the software sector and customised project development services for its clients.
The transaction, which was carried out with the assistance of Baker Tilly's specialised technology M&A advisors , reinforces BSG's strategy of consolidating its position in high-value vertical markets by integrating leading companies with specialised products, a loyal customer base and solid technological capabilities. With the addition of Extra Software, BSG expands its product offering across multiple industries, supported by a portfolio of more than 1,100 active customers.
