On 14 January 2022, the acquisition of ECOINTEGRAL by the IDP engineering group was formalised. Baker Tilly Corporate Finance has advised ECOINTEGRAL's owners in this transaction.
The management team of ECOINTEGRAL will continue to be led by Francisco Gabriel Martín as Managing Director and its Board of Directors will continue to be chaired by Juan Ramón Mateos, founding partner of the company. With this transaction, IDP incorporates two new strategic business lines (energy and telecom) and becomes one of the top 15 engineering companies in Spain. It thus continues with its expansion plan after the entry of PE Nazca Capital, being ECOINTEGRAL its second acquisition.

Based in Córdoba (Spain), ECOINTEGRAL is a company founded in 1999, specialised in projects related to electricity transmission and distribution, renewable energies and telecommunications. It has 220 professionals and its own offices in Cordoba, Malaga, Zaragoza, Las Palmas and Krakow (Poland). It has executed more than 500 renewable energy projects (photovoltaic, wind and hydrogen) and 3,000 transmission and distribution projects for clients such as Endesa (Enel), Naturgy, REE, Forestalia, Q-Energy, Vodafone, Telefónica, Orange, Cellnex and Telxius, among others.

IDP, founded more than 20 years ago, specialises in the provision of engineering services using BIM technology and methodology, with extensive national and international experience in the industrial, logistics, non-residential building, retail, environmental and infrastructure sectors. The company's business model is based on innovation, which has allowed it to apply BIM (Building Information Marketing) to the entire life cycle of the asset (design, construction and maintenance) taking advantage of all its benefits in terms of improving design quality and reducing costs and execution times.
The company has also developed differentiated capabilities in digitalisation to improve asset performance through the development of Digital Twins, from construction to operation and maintenance. IDP has offices in Spain and Latin America.
