On 11 March, the purchase of one of the Spanish IT companies par excellence, ID Grup, a Catalan company providing cloud management and IT infrastructure services, by Claranet, a British technology provider, was made public for an amount that has not yet been made public by either party.

Arktec acquired by GRAITEC
As the latest acquisition of Spanish IT companies, we have the acquisition of Arktec by the French company GRAITEC at the end of this month. The amount for which the purchase was agreed on 3 March has not yet been announced, although what can be said is that both Antonio Fernández, Managing Director and Founding Partner of ARKTEC, and Manuel Liedot, CEO of GRAITEC, are very satisfied with the process and its closing.
With 48 offices in 13 countries, 550 employees and 200 BIM (Building Information Modelling) consultants, GRAITEC offers digital transformation services to more than 100,000 construction and manufacturing professionals, providing BIM and Industry 4.0 software and consultancy.
Arktec, for its part, provides structural calculation and project management software services for AEC, with thousands of clients in Spain, Portugal and Latin America, which caught Lideot's attention. Thanks to the presence of the Spanish company in Latin America, GRAITEC will have the opportunity to increase its activity in that geography where they already offer Manufacturing solutions, one of the four pillars of their offer (simulation, creation, manufacturing and management).
