Robotic Cybersecurity: Alias Robotics, the Leading Star Up
Alias Robotics is a cyber-security company

Cybersecurity has become one of the most promising fields for the future, with great potential for growth. Likewise, several new companies have entered this sector in recent years, bringing innovation and development to a sector that already had a high technological level. In this post, in Baker Tilly we will analyse the business model of the startup Alias Robotics, a start-up company dedicated to the development of industrial robotic cybersecurity.

Alias Robotics is a cybersecurity company that creates the Robotic Immune System (RIS), an artificial immune system for robots. The company provides consultancy to build, programme and deploy the robots while being concerned with safety, security and privacy.

SUCCESS THANKS TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN INNOVATIVE PRODUCT

In 2018, the young entrepreneur from Vitoria David Mayoral Vilches -with an outstanding professional career in the field of robotics- set up the start-up in the capital of Alava Alias Roboticsspecialising in the innovative field of robotic cybersecuritywith multiple applications in sectors such as aeronautics, automotive, industrial, healthcare and consumer robotics.

In this time, Alias Robotics has carved a niche for itself worldwide with the development of an innovative product for robotics that analyses the behaviour of industrial robots, identifying malfunctions, external computer attacks or tampering with their 'Blackbox', the black box that controls the operation of these robotic devices.

As David Mayoral explains, "Security for robotics remains an unfinished business in the industrial sectorBut many companies are already taking the lead and subjecting their robots to the necessary analysis to prevent hacker threats. We respond to this need for cyber security with our services and products.",

The robotic approach to cyber security is an approach that uses expertise in building robotic systems and the application of new techniques using the latest artificial intelligence and machine learning tools.

THE COMPANY CONTINUES TO GROW

At this very moment, the company is immersed in an important strategic plan aimed at the development and final improvement of the product, as well as the deployment of its activity in international markets, with the reinforcement of its marketing and sales department, with qualified personnel in these areas.

This financial operation, managed by the Donostia law firm Baum and BSK3 million in 2020, when the company's equity will be supplemented by a second round of financing of a further startup The Vitoria office will also be open to professional investors. This operation could be completed by the end of 2020.
