COMFICA BUYS LITEYCA'S NORTHERN SPAIN BUSINESS FOR €31M

Comfica, the national leader in the construction and maintenance of telecommunications networks, has just acquired Liteyca's branch of activity in the north of Spain. M&A transactions-y-mergers and acquisitions-ma-en-en-espana/">Spain 31 million.

Dexis Iberica, headquartered at the Zaragoza Logistics Park, has just acquired the Valencian firm Intra Automation y Equipamientos Laborales PROA SL, marking another step forward in the industrial maintenance sector. This move strengthens the company’s position in the market and adds value to its current offering, enabling it to enter the automation and robotics sectors in earnest with a clear focus on Industry 4.0.

Closing 2018 with a turnover of 102M€ and a workforce of 425 people throughout Spain, we are talking about the leader in the global offer of services and solutions, both in industrial maintenance and occupational health and safety. By 2021, Dexis aims to centralise all the logistics part of the business in Zaragoza and lead industrial distribution in the Iberian Peninsula.

The company arrived in the Aragonese capital in 1998, but did not boost its expansion until years later, in 2014. It belongs to Descours & Cabauda family-owned group based in Lyon and leader in industrial distribution in Europe. It has a turnover of around €3.8 billion, employs 13,000 people and is present in 13 countries.

The company is currently present in several countries in Europe and Latin America, although it continues to focus on Spain, the country that generates 75% of turnover and where it is the largest player in the Spanish market. leader in the deployment of fibre and cellular antenna projectsworking for large telecommunications operators and standing out for its strategic commitment to logical security and cybersecurity.

It was created in 1991, and in its beginnings it was specialised in the installation of fibre optic cables, as well as their installation and maintenance.
