Japanese multinational Ricoh buys the 100% from Techno Trends, a leading provider of meeting room, telepresence and unified communications solutions, strengthening its digital workplace transformation business.
About Techno Trends
Techno Trends is a Spanish company of reference in the design and implementation of remote business collaboration solutions and services. Founded in Barcelona in 1994 by a group of engineers, Techno Trends was created to provide a professional response to the needs of remote communication and collaboration in companies.
The company operates in the Enterprise, Public Administration and Commercial segments. Its offering includes telepresence and videoconferencing services; design, supply and integration of audiovisual solutions; unified communications; pre-sales services; integration, installation and training; auditing and consulting; and videoconferencing room rental, equipment rental and videoconferencing event organisation services.
Currently, Ricoh's new subsidiary in Spain has a total of 300 customers, including Ibex 35 companies such as Indra, Telefónica and BBVA. Techno Trends offers its support and maintenance services in more than 60 countries and is recognised as a partner in Spain of leading manufacturers such as Cisco, Microsoft, Pexip, Huawei, Avaya and Barco.

Ricoh Spain buys Techno Trends
Ricoh Spainspecialised in printing and photocopying services, has carried out the purchase of the firm Techno Trends, specialising in the design and implementation of remote business solutions. The transaction consisted of the purchase of 100% of Techno Trends' shares.until now the Japanese company's commercial partner in Spain. Techno Trends will keep its employees and operational headquarters in Barcelona, Madrid and Bilbao.
Ricoh and Techno Trends are thus entering a new phase together with the aim of expanding synergies and increasing their business at a time when the international enterprise collaboration market is set to double by 2021.
The deal enables Ricoh to strengthen its Digital Workplace business for the key account segment, expanding its customer base, particularly in areas such as financial services, healthcare and public administration. Techno Trends thus consolidates its leadership in Spain in the business collaboration market, obtaining greater commercial capacity and financial strength, as well as significant growth expectations.
