26 funds in 3 different categories: Expansion Capital, Venture Capital and Incubation, participated in the 7th Fondico call. Of these 26 funds, 9 have been selected, three in each category. Fondico will distribute €157M among these funds. Given the multiplier effect generated by this instrument, the funds participating thanks to this call will invest a minimum of €660M in Spain, which is 4.2 times the amount of €157M committed by FOND-ICO Global.

In the category of Capital Expansion: (€109M)
Nexxus iberia sgeic sa Fondico is the first Latin American fund to be supported by Fondico. Although it is a Mexican fund manager, a Spanish team will be in charge of this vehicle whose purpose is to invest in Spanish companies, with a focus on internationalisation towards Latin America.
Oquendo management ii sarl Oquendo has started work on setting up its third fund, with which it aims to raise around €175m. Oquendo typically invests in mezzanine debt transactions, which it occasionally combines with equity investments. Oquendo's usual investment range is from €5M to €20M.
Realza capital sgeic sa : In July Realza Capital raised €125M to close its second investment vehicle. At the moment, Realza has 6 investees in its portfolio. Plenido (dental clinics), Quimi Romar (home cleaning and personal care), Gestión Tributaria Territorial (local tax management services), Dolz (automotive water pump spare parts), Litalsa (lithography and varnishing of packaging) and Cualin Quality (tomato growing).
In the venture capital category: (€30M)
Inveready asset management sgeic saThis fund manager had previously received investment from Fondico in other calls. Inveready's latest deal was the €1.5M investment in Tviso. Tviso is an aggregator of audiovisual offerings in Spain.
Jme venture capital sgeic sa JME is a new venture capital manager, which is the next step in the project to support innovation and entrepreneurship that started with the creation of FJME at the end of 2009. JME is aimed at professional investors, with a target size of €50M, to invest in the early stages of technology-based companies with high growth potential.
Si capital private equity sgeic sa : He is a specialist investor in well-managed companies in the Energy Efficiency sector, mainly in Europe.
