On Saturday 23rd April the Minetur AEESD 2016 call for R&D project funding opened. This call will be open for 20 days. A new feature this year is that thematic priority will be given to projects in industry 4.0 and connected industry 4.0, and the guarantees will be determined based on the qualification of the economic and financial solvency of the entity, in accordance with industry practices. Here is a summary of the main characteristics:
Objective:
Fund industrial research and experimental development projects in the following areas: industries of the future, connected industry 4.o, cybersecurity and digital trust, health and wellbeing, agri-food and environmental management, energy efficiency, transport and logistics and digital content.
Beneficiaries:
Companies and economic interest groupings except: those belonging to the public sector, entities incorporated after 31/12/2012, non-profit entities exercising economic activity and self-employed professionals.
Type and amount of aid:
The aid intensity can reach 50% grant for SMEs and 40% for all other beneficiaries and the aid can be complemented by loan financing up to 100 % of the project budget.
Application deadline:
20 working days from 23 April, the date on which the aid was published in the Boe.
