IOT investment in manufacturing grows
From our business unit Logic-fin, we have detected that the use of the internet of things in the manufacturing sector is a market that is growing considerably and presents many opportunities that are now coming to light and that is why we have carried out a study of the sector.

If you want to get the whole study  click here

This study includes 93 companies that offer IOT solutions in the manufacturing sector, including the main functionalities:

-The use of IOT to optimise efficiency in the supply chain and production.

-IOT in freight transport

-Prediction to detect faults, bottlenecks, product lifetime.

-The use of IOT to analyse the data captured by the company.

-IOT for better machine efficiency: remote control, connecting machines

-Iot for greater energy efficiency in manufacturing

The companies analysed have received between 2007 and 2015 more than $1600M in alternative financing, mainly from venture capital, but in recent years we have seen a significant increase in Seed and Angels rounds, which shows that this is a sector in which new companies are being created and which still has a long way to go.

In 2015 investment in the sector has skyrocketed, the number of rounds has grown by 30% and the volume invested has grown from $106M to $211M.
