Seidor goes shopping: acquires Dispal and Softgasa
Seidor, a leading multinational firm in SAP Consulting solutions, Management Consulting and value-added ICT Services, has acquired two companies in February 2015: Dispal and Softgasa, with the aim of consolidating its position in the north of Spain.

Growth process via mergers and acquisitions

According to Diego Gutierrez of Abra Invest, the Spanish market presents an opportunity for ICT service companies of a certain size to grow rapidly via mergers and acquisitions. The purpose of the integrations may be to expand the geographical scope of operations or to complement the product portfolio with the incorporation of differential technology or specialised know-how.

"We are receiving enquiries from international ICT companies interested in identifying Spanish companies because they see Spain as a springboard to Latin America and because Spanish technical staff represent quality/cost advantages over European staff," he says. Diego Gutierrez.
