Talde's new fund towards internalisation

The Basque Venture Capital Company Talde opens a new fund to support investments from Europe to Latin America and vice versa.

El nuevo fondo, que cuenta con 100 millones de euros, ampliable a 150 millones de euros, tiene como objetivo fomentar la internalización, el aumento de las compras así como las M&A transactions entre empresas europeas y Latinoamericanas.

Several international investors are expected to be among its participants, as it is being promoted in different countries and geographic areas.

The Talde Group's investors in its projects have usually been national investors, although it has also had international investors such as the French Electricity Pension Fund and the European Investment Fund.

Talde investee companies

Talde invests in a wide range of sectors, with no restrictions on activity or location among its investees.

Thus, its portfolio includes food companies such as Palacescompanies in the health sector, such as Deltalabtechnology companies, such as VS anywhere, telecommunication companies, such as Neo Skyof services such as Meydis e.t.c

Talde's most recent transaction is the purchase of 90% from ÑamingS.L., a Biscayan company in the food sector, is the leading national brand in the sandwich sector. Ñaming is growing considerably, achieving a turnover of over 12 million euros last year, thus multiplying its turnover by three in 4 years.

Talde continues to invest in companies with a clear innovative profile and in companies that are committed to implementing new technologies that facilitate the day-to-day life of society. Proof of this is that several of its investees have been recognised with awards related to innovation, such as Biopolis, a TALDE investee company, which was awarded the prize for Innovation in Health and Food awarded by the Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia in September 2013, or the prize for Innovation in Health and Food awarded by the Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia in September 2013, or the prize for Innovation in Health and Food awarded by the Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia in September 2013.  Neos Surgery que fue  reconocida por la Empresa Nacional de Innovación (ENISA) por su ‘enfoque innovador’ y incluida en la lista de historias de éxito.
