In October 2025, Business Software Group (BSG), a leading industrial software group specialising in software solutions for businesses, announced the acquisition of Extra Software, a long-standing Spanish company and benchmark in the software sector<\/a> and customised project development services for its clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The transaction, which was carried out with the assistance of Baker Tilly's specialised technology M&A advisors<\/strong> , reinforces BSG's strategy of consolidating its position in high-value vertical markets by integrating leading companies with specialised products, a loyal customer base and solid technological capabilities. With the addition of Extra Software, BSG expands its product offering across multiple industries, supported by a portfolio of more than 1,100 active customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Extra Software is a Spanish company specialising in the development of software solutions for businesses and government agencies. With over 30 years of experience, it has focused its activity on offering tailored technological tools that support its clients' internal management and operational processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
