In the Iberian Peninsula, Baker Tilly Global Deal Advisory has advised on a total of 15 transactions in 2022 (13 of them public), 7 buy-side transactions and 8 sell-side transactions. IDP thus integrated two new strategic business lines (energy and technology). (<a href=\"https:\/\/techma.bakertilly.es\/en\/ecointegral-acquired-by-idp-ss-a1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/techma.bakertilly.es\/ecointegral-adquirida-por-idp-ss-a1\/\">+info<\/a>)<\/li><li><strong>Mengual<\/strong>, a company that sells wood hardware, sold a minority stake in April 2022 to the private equity firm Suma Capital, which is carrying out this transaction through its fund for SMEs in traditional sectors, SC Growth Fund II. The JIS lock manufacturer has grown over the years to become a world leader in electric locks and electric strikes. (<a href=\"https:\/\/techma.bakertilly.es\/en\/nadal-badal-sold-to-cdvi-group-ss-a1\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/techma.bakertilly.es\/nadal-badal-vendido-a-cdvi-group-ss-a1\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">+info<\/a>)<\/li><li>In July 2022, Itaca Capital bought <strong>Gravity Works<\/strong>, a company that installs safety systems for hazardous work. (<a href=\"https:\/\/techma.bakertilly.es\/en\/gravity-works-sold-itaca-capital-ss-a3\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/techma.bakertilly.es\/gravity-works-venta-itaca-capital-ss-a3\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">+info<\/a>)<\/li><li><strong>Viube Foods (Mikso Chips)<\/strong> was purchased in August 2022 from the Chips and snacks manufacturer, Apex Group. The Apex Group thus reaffirms its growth strategy and successfully positions itself in Catalonia, where it will have its seventh production plant. Innovar and Axazure (also acquired by Techedge) will thus become one of Microsoft's most powerful partners in Spain in this business segment. MFI thus continues its commitment to the health sector.
