Analysing the data globally, we observe that a large number of operations have been carried out, in addition to being a sector with stable funding. The resulting investors are Intel Capital, <a href=\"https:\/\/500.co\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">500 startups<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nea.com\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New Enterprise Associates<\/a>. It is mainly dedicated to transforming its clients' businesses by offering specific technological solutions for each company, in order to achieve a competitive advantage in its sector. On the other hand, Intel Capital is dedicated to investing in companies dedicated to the cloud, artificial intelligence or cybersecurity, i.e. it is focused on technology companies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This venture capital has realised <strong>49 investments<\/strong> in the Cloud Computing sector, investing a total amount of <strong>2.6 billion<\/strong>The number of investments in this case coincides with the number of companies invested in. The most recognised company in which he has invested is <a href=\"https:\/\/es.cloudera.com\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cloudera<\/a>the US enterprise data platform. In that transaction Intel Capital invested <strong>740 million<\/strong>making it Intel Capital's largest investment in the data centre sector. The investment was aimed at securing a 18% stake, valued at approximately $4.1 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Cloudera &amp; Intel Use Cases\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_zeB4DDZfIo?feature=oembed\"  allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2o-_500_startups\"><\/span><br><br><br>2nd - <strong>500 startups<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cl.buscafs.com\/www.qore.com\/public\/uploads\/images\/68531_880x390.jpg\" alt=\"500 Startups\" width=\"362\" height=\"160\" title=\"\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This US venture capital firm, based in California, ranks as the second most active Venture Capital. It focuses on financing early-stage companies. For this reason, it is normal that it has made a high number of investments, a total of 2,543 investments in different sectors, all of them technological. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the other hand, it has made 10 fewer investments than Intel Capital, a total of 39 in the Cloud sector, and has also invested a smaller amount, although by no means negligible: $68 million. Koding is the Cloud company in which it invested the most money. In 2015, together with four other investors, it carried out a 10 million dollar operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2o-_New_Enterprise_Associates_NEA\"><\/span>2nd - <strong>New Enterprise Associates (NEA)<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This US firm operates in technology sectors such as Software and also in the healthcare sectors such as Biopharma. They aim to help their clients grow by focusing on start-up companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/techma.bakertilly.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/image-14.png\" alt=\"New Enterprise Associates\" class=\"wp-image-51039\" width=\"273\" height=\"217\" title=\"\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New Enterprise Associates has made the same investments as 500 Startups, 39, but unlike the previous firm, it has invested more than 3.5 billion dollars in the sector. We highlight the investment made in Collective Health, a company that presents innovation in the healthcare sector through cloud platforms. This company has received a total of $749 million through 10 rounds of financing, rounds in which NEA has participated, along with other investors. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Inversores_en_Espana_Cabiedes_como_Venture_Capital_mas_activo_en_Cloud_Computing\"><\/span><strong>Investors in Spain: Cabiedes as most active Venture Capital in the Cloud<\/strong> Computing<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To finalise this ranking, Baker Tilly has identified <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/cabiedes-&amp;-partners\/about\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cabiedes &amp; Partners<\/a> as the most active Venture Capital in the Spanish Cloud Computing market. It has made the most investments in the sector at national level. This Spanish venture capital firm offers financing, above all, to early-stage companies. It has made 6 investments in two Spanish companies in the Cloud sector: GIGAS and Zyncro.
