During this period, the total invested capital calculated annually has increased substantially, more than doubling from $ 332 million in 2010 to $ 797 million in 2012.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Companies are always trying to improve their productivity, to increase their profitability and improve efficiency. What better way to achieve this goal than to use software that does the work for you? Applications that increase productivity and optimise processes are becoming more and more capable and therefore even more valuable for companies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Moovweb: a recent case that fuels the trend.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Moovweb, the developer of a cloud-based web platform, has raised $ 16 million in a<strong> financing round<\/strong> by investors \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jafco.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">JAFCO Ventures<\/a> \u00a0and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.trinityventures.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Trinity Ventures<\/a>as well as existing individual investors. The San Francisco-based company enables businesses to go mobile by taking a fundamentally different approach to unifying their web and mobile application development.
