Since 2005, more than 465 companies have been created in the industrial manufacturing sector.<\/strong> The project has raised more than three billion dollars in private financing. 172 investments have been made in the Seed <\/em>or seed and 46 in Early Stages. <\/em>In addition, there have been 531 mergers and acquisitions<\/a> and 10 IPOs or IPO<\/em>s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

INVESTMENTS BY ROUNDS<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The investment trend in the Industrial Manufacturing sector has been clearly upward since our base year. However, it can be said that this trend has intensified since 2015, with more financing rounds launched and with more capital intensive rounds. 2016 and 2017 were the golden years, where more than USD 600 million was raised in each of the years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the amount of financing raised has been reduced in 2019, there have been particularly important and relevant investments for the sector. For example, the Korean energy and chemicals conglomerate Hanwha Systems<\/a> invested USD 25 million in a first round (Series A) investment in a start-up company in the sector. In addition, the Chinese investment company GF Qianhe Investment<\/a> injected USD 15 million into another new company. Another significant transaction was the Endeit Capital<\/a>which provided $18 million worth of funding to a company in its C round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RECENT MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

2018 was the year of the mergers and acquisitions<\/a> for the manufacturing sector, with a total of 56 operations. The year 2017 is no slouch either, as there were 49 mergers and acquisitions<\/a> of companies around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most active company in mergers and acquisitions<\/a> has been the US multinational Lincoln Electric Holdings<\/a>with a total of 20 mergers and acquisitions<\/a> since 2005. The latest mergers and acquisitions<\/a> of Lincoln Electric Holdings have been Worthington Industries - Soldering Business in June 2019, Baker Industries<\/a> in April of the same year and Coldwater Machine Company<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
