Baker Tilly<\/a> has carried out a survey of 13,815 companies in the Food & Beverage<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In this post, we take a closer look at the sector and, more specifically, at five companies that sold part of their shareholding in rounds during 2019.<\/p>\n

Farmers, traders, wholesalers, food manufacturing companies and retailers.<\/p>\n

Although to varying degrees, all of them, together, make up the Food & Beverage<\/em>the largest sector in the world.<\/p>\n

<\/span>WHAT IS IT?<\/span><\/h2>\n

The two segments of the Food & Beverage<\/em> are the production and distribution of edible goods.<\/p>\n

Such production includes the processing of meats and cheeses, the creation of soft drinks and beverages and other modified and packaged foods.<\/p>\n

<\/span>WHAT DOES THIS INDUSTRY INCLUDE?<\/span><\/h2>\n

The oil and gas industry food & Beverage<\/em>The term \"food processing companies\" therefore refers to all companies involved in the processing of food raw materials, their packaging and their distribution.<\/p>\n

This includes fresh and prepared foods, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.<\/p>\n

Below, we set out the\u00a0Top 5<\/em>\u00a0of companies Food & Beverage<\/em> that were sold<\/a> last year in different financing rounds<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/span>TOP 5 COMPANIES SOLD IN THE SECTOR<\/span><\/h2>\n

<\/span>DRUMS FOOD INTERNATIONAL<\/span><\/h3>\n

It is an Indian company founded in 2007.<\/p>\n

You can visit dedicated to quality product experiences, with a superior taste<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The last partial sale of the company's shareholding took place in 2019, in a series C round.<\/p>\n

<\/span>MYCOTECHNOLOGY<\/span><\/h3>\n

It is a food technology company<\/strong>which uses mushroom-based food processing platforms<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In this way, they transform the taste and value of agricultural products.<\/p>\n

In addition, MycoTechnology has launched ClearTaste<\/em>an all-natural, GMO-free, organic bitter blocker that enhances flavours.<\/p>\n

Last year, I carried out a partial share sale, in one round, Series C, valued at $30M<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/span>THE NOT COMPANY<\/span><\/h3>\n

Notco<\/a> is a Foodtech company<\/strong> which saw the light of day in 2015.<\/p>\n

Uses artificial intelligence<\/strong> to create, from plants<\/strong>delicious, sustainable and affordable food.<\/p>\n

In this way, it offers unprecedented experiences with, for example, Greek yoghurt, milk, cheese or mayonnaise.<\/p>\n

Its last shareholding sale was in 2019, in a Series A round for $30M<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/span>INNERCHEF<\/span><\/h3>\n

Innerchef is another food technology company<\/strong> whose origin dates back to 2015.<\/p>\n

It offers a mobile application for online food discovery and delivery.<\/p>\n

It not only allows its users to order their favourite dishes, but also to have them delivered within 20 minutes.<\/p>\n

In a series A round, it partially sold its shareholding in 2019, for $6.5M<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/span>KEATZ<\/span><\/h3>\n

Keatz<\/a> was founded in 2015 and is based in Berlin.<\/p>\n

It is a company that creates sustainable recipes, processes and packaging, always using the latest culinary techniques.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
