MediQuo is a Catalan company dedicated to the development of a mobile medical chat application.<\/p>\n

It is in operation 24 hours a day, seven days a week.<\/p>\n

It has recently sold part of its shares for \u20ac2m to continue its growth and launch another app.<\/p>\n

Talking about digitisation in industry healthcare<\/em>\u00a0is to talk about the present.<\/p>\n

Currently, many companies in this sector are developing their digital transformation and, in this way, focusing part of their actions in the online sphere.<\/p>\n

A reality reflected both in the sector and in the movements of its corporate finances.<\/p>\n

<\/span>MEDIQUO<\/span><\/h2>\n

Founded in 2013 and based in Barcelona, Medipremium Servicios M\u00e9dicos, MediQuo<\/a>, is a medical consultation application<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Mediquo:<\/p>\n

The platform aims to have 14,000 health professionals available to its users.<\/p>\n

They also aim to be able to serve 1.5 million patients in the next 15 months.<\/p>\n

The service already operates in some twenty countries, especially in Spain, the United States and Latin America.<\/p>\n

<\/span>HOW DOES IT WORK?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Mediquo works in a similar way to any messaging app, such as WhatsApp.<\/p>\n

Once the user has downloaded it, it will be possible to\u00a0<\/strong>to put in contact with registered doctors and other health professionals<\/strong>in order to receive answers to your medical questions in less than 2 minutes.<\/p>\n

They include paediatricians, gynaecologists, cardiologists, nutritionists, sexologists, psychologists and even personal trainers.<\/p>\n

<\/span>CLAIMS FOR CHANGE<\/span><\/h2>\n

In addition, the company has recently announced that it is incorporating Bruno Cuevas<\/strong>from Adevinta, as co-CEO of the group.<\/p>\n

Cuevas has been in charge of assuring that MediQuo wants to change the way in which patients interact with health professionals.<\/p>\n

<\/span>SUPPORT RECEIVED<\/span><\/h2>\n

To this end, at the end of January, the company sold part of its shareholding in the company in a financing round<\/a> valued at 2M\u20ac<\/strong> to various partners in the eHealth<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Specifically, we are talking about Albert Castells<\/strong> and Jos\u00e9 L\u00f3pez<\/strong>, founders of<\/strong> iHealth, and several investors in the sector, such as Target Global, a German investment fund<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

With this sale<\/a>MediQuo wants to put a hospital in everyone's pocket.<\/p>\n

It plans to launch an application so that all healthcare professionals can attend their patients' consultations online, and not only the platform's collaborators.<\/p>\n

<\/span>EXPONENTIAL GROWTH<\/span><\/h2>\n

It is worth noting that in less than two years, MediQuo has raised \u20ac4m.<\/p>\n

As if that were not enough, downloads of its app have reached almost 600,000 mobile devices and it has attended to almost one million medical consultations.<\/p>\n

The recently concluded 2019 closed with a turnover of around 100,000 euros.<\/p>\n

<\/span>PSIOUS<\/span><\/h3>\n

Psious<\/a> develops virtual reality platform designed to add value to mental health treatment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This company uses hyper-realistic virtual environments, giving way to virtual exposure therapy.<\/p>\n

In its last partial shareholding sale, it managed to 8M\u20ac<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/span>ANACONDA BIOMED<\/span><\/h3>\n

Founded in 2015, Anaconda Biomed<\/a> is\u00a0one of the world's most innovative medical technology companies.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is currently developing\u00a0ANCD BRAIN<\/em>a novel system for mechanical thrombectomy with\u00a0catheter\u00a0<\/em>third generation.<\/p>\n

It is used to treat acute ischemic stroke, also known as acute ischemic stroke.\u00a0Ictus<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In its last share sale at the end of last year, it obtained 20M\u20ac<\/strong> for its development.<\/p>\n
