CYBERSECURITY IN BRAZIL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Idwall is a Brazilian Start Up, specialised in automated identity validation and fraud prevention solutions, which has just sold part of its shares in a 10M$ round.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It has done so to new investors such as Qualcomm. <a href=\"https:\/\/techma.bakertilly.es\/en\/corporate-venturing\/\">Ventures<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Online fraud and identity theft is a global problem that knows no barriers or borders.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">But Brazil, in particular, ranks second in the world for these crimes, with one attempted fraud every 16 seconds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There, they can cost around 15M$ annually.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to being a problem for Brazil's own citizens, this can be an obstacle for the country's economy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With the numbers involved, other countries may question the suitability of the place to do business.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img and to try to tackle it, in 2016 the <a href=\"https:\/\/idwall.co\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Idwall<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Based in S\u00e3o Paulo, this start-up began as an automated background check solution.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Since then, it has become one of the most specialised firms in identity and data validation products.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Helps companies digitally validate users' identities through AI and big data.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is based on 3 axes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Data analysis<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Facial recognition software<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Machine learning for identity identification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Among its clients, we can find such important companies as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.loggi.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Loggi<\/a>, <a its shares in a Series B round of funding worth <strong>10M$<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The deal was led by Qualcomm Ventures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Other investors such as Globo Group, one of the largest media and real estate conglomerates in Latin America, also participated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Previously, in 2018, this Start Up already did something similar and sold another part of its shareholding, receiving just over 2M$ from Brazilian funds Canary and Monashees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With all of the above, Idwaall plans to further expand its services by the end of 2020.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"OTRAS_RONDAS_RELEVANTES_DEL_SECTOR\"><\/span>OTHER RELEVANT INDUSTRY ROUNDS<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"SIGNATURIT\"><\/span>SIGNATURIT<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Signaturit develops a <strong>electronic signature software designed to offer trusted services that guarantee the legal security of all digital transactions from any device.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There is no need to install any application.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recently, it was able to lift <strong>7M\u20ac<\/strong> in a Series A round.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"VALIDATED_ID\"><\/span>VALIDATED ID<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Validated ID <strong>is a Catalan firm specialised in electronic signatures, electronic invoicing and digital invoicing.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It has three lines of business:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><em>VIDsiger<\/em>Electronic signature service designed for both face-to-face and remote use.<\/li>\n<li><em>SP4i<\/em>electronic invoicing service.<\/li>\n<li><em>VIDchain<\/em>Sovereign technology-based digital identity service <em>blockchain<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, it has captured <strong>2M\u20ac<\/strong> in its latest round of
