The Capgemini Group strengthens its position as a leader in engineering, R&D and professional services outsourcing with the acquisition of Altran Technologies. An amicable acquisition, with the unanimous approval of the Boards of Directors of both companies.<\/p>\n
It is a French consultancy firm and a leading global provider of consulting, technology and outsourcing services<\/strong>. This operation allows it to create an IT engineering giant in order to capitalise on the growing market for engineering outsourcing services.<\/p>\n For more information about the firm, please see one of our previous posts.<\/p>\n The operation has been closed in 3.600 M\u20ac<\/strong> and includes the assumption of 1.400 M\u20ac<\/strong>resulting in a total operation of some 5.000 M\u20ac<\/strong>. The company believes that this acquisition is perfectly aligned with the vision set out in its strategic plan.<\/p>\n The combination of Capgemini<\/a> and Altran Technologies will create a group with revenues of \u20ac17 billion and more than 250,000 employees.
