<\/span>Operation between\u00a0<\/span>Nemotec<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Biotech<\/span>\u00a0Dental<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

Nemotec<\/span><\/a>based in Madrid,\u00a0<\/span>is a manufacturer of\u00a0<\/span>diagnostic software and products for dental specialties\u00a0<\/span><\/b>such as orthodontics and implantology.<\/span>\u00a0It was created in 1992 to provide dentists, clinics and laboratories with solutions for diagnosing, planning and communicating effective and visual treatment plans for patients.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A<\/span>ccurrently\u00a0<\/span>has<\/span>\u00a0more than 63\u00a0<\/span>employees<\/span>\u00a0and sells in more than 71 countries<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>with a network of 14 distributors located in different areas. The company has a multidisciplinary digital platform for dentistry called\u00a0<\/span>NemoStudio<\/span>which allows the printing of products for different disciplines.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

La madrile\u00f1a\u00a0<\/span>presented for the third consecutive year a\u00a0<\/span>22% consolidated international increase of 22% of its sales<\/span><\/b>\u00a0software and services. The\u00a0<\/span>objective<\/span>\u00a0of the company<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>is to further develop<\/span>\u00a0its internationalisation process and to focus on product development.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>R&D<\/span><\/b>.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nemotec<\/span>\u00a0is a partner of\u00a0<\/span>Biotech<\/span>\u00a0Dental<\/span><\/a>\u00a0since 2016 by the design process of the transparent aligners.\u00a0<\/span>Smilers<\/span>France's number one in invisible orthodontics for dentists. This union has made it possible that on 21 March last\u00a0<\/span>Biotech<\/span>\u00a0Dental\u00a0<\/span>Spain<\/span>a company controlled by the French company\u00a0<\/span>Biotech<\/span>\u00a0Dental,\u00a0<\/span>talked<\/span><\/b>now<\/span><\/b>\u00a0purchased the 81% from\u00a0<\/span><\/b>Nemotec<\/span><\/b>. Financial details of the transaction have not been made public.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

S<\/span>his operation\u00a0<\/span>strengthens the existing collaboration between the two companies.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Biotech<\/span>\u00a0Dental will use this purchase to launch a unique solution for orthodontists and maxillofacial surgeons with the software\u00a0<\/span>NemoCast<\/span>. <\/span>Selling companies internationally<\/span><\/h2>\n

In this section we look at the dental software sector with its most recent sales:<\/p>\n

<\/span>1. <\/span>ClariCare<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Founded in 2013,\u00a0<\/span>ClariCare<\/span><\/a>\u00a0has developed a\u00a0<\/span>cloud application that helps to optimise and manage a dentist's most important functions<\/span><\/b>. The solutions of\u00a0<\/span>ClariCare<\/span>\u00a0simplify their customers' daily operations. Their goal is to make \"dentists dentists again\".<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On 27 August 2018, we learned of the sale of the company to\u00a0<\/span>True\u00a0<\/span>Nature<\/span>\u00a0Holdings<\/span>a company that helps to consolidate businesses in the healthcare sector. The amount of the transaction was not made public.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>2. Unident<\/span>\u00a0AB<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Unident<\/span>\u00a0is\u00a0<\/span>a\u00a0<\/span>distributor of dental equipment<\/span><\/b>as well as\u00a0<\/span>de\u00a0<\/span>laboratory services and dental analysis software<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>for the Nordic market<\/span><\/b>.\u00a0<\/span>It was founded with more than 150 employees in offices in Stockholm,\u00a0<\/span>Horten<\/span>Copenhagen and Helsinki.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Triton<\/span><\/a>a private equity investment firm that invests in medium-sized companies in Northern Europe,\u00a0<\/span>confirmed the purchase<\/span><\/b>\u00a0de\u00a0<\/span>Unident<\/span>\u00a0AB. The transaction took place on 17 June 2018 and the amounts involved are unknown.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>3. Amann Girrbach<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

As a pioneer in dental CAD\/CAM technology,\u00a0<\/span>Amann<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Girrbach<\/span>\u00a0is a\u00a0<\/span>full service provider in digital dentures<\/span><\/b>. The company from Vorarlberg, Austria, has a growing number of partners in more than 90 countries around the world. For\u00a0<\/span>Amann<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Girrbach<\/span>\u00a0the future of dental technology is digital.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>4. Computer<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Kronket<\/span>\u00a0AG<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Founded in 1990,\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Computer konkret<\/span><\/a>\u00a0is a German company that\u00a0<\/span>develops and sells dental software for dentists and orthodontists<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Lifco<\/span><\/a>is a Swiss company that acquires and develops operations in niche markets with the potential to generate sustainable growth.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On 21 December, we learned of the purchase operation by\u00a0<\/span>Lifco<\/span>\u00a0over\u00a0<\/span>Computer<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Kronket<\/span>. Financial amounts were not disclosed.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>Kapanu<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Based in\u00a0<\/span>Zurich<\/span>\u00a0and founded in 2015,\u00a0<\/span>Kapanu<\/span><\/a>\u00a0is\u00a0<\/span>denta software developer<\/span><\/b>l.\u00a0<\/span>They are a spin-off of the Institute for Visual Computing \/ Computer Graphics Lab at ETH.\u00a0<\/span>Zurich<\/span>. They specialise in advanced research and engineering in visual computing technologies, computer vision and graphics, and machine learning.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kapanu<\/span>\u00a0was sold to\u00a0<\/span>Ivoclar<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Vivadent<\/span><\/a>\u00a06 September 2017\u00a0<\/span>for $5 million<\/span><\/b>.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
