Its success has led to the sale of the company's 39% to the international management company Carlile Group.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a more specific section, we carried out a study on the textile technology sector with the <a href=\"https:\/\/techma.bakertilly.es\/en\/sale-of-companies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">sale of all or part of their businesses<\/span><\/a> most prominent.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Un_ambicioso_plan_de_expansion_de_Jeanologia\"><\/span>An ambitious expansion plan of <strong>Jeanology<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jeanologia.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jeanology<\/a> is a company based in Paterna, Valencia, that develops <strong>sustainable and efficient finishing technologies<\/strong> in the textile industry. The company has a presence in more than 60 countries and its laser technology <strong>is responsible for more than 35% of the jeans manufactured.<\/strong> all over the world. Major companies rely on its innovative technology: Polo Jeans, Jack &amp; Jones or H&amp;M are some of them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On 12 March we heard the news that the famous fund management company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carlyle.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Carlile Group<\/a> has bought a minority stake in Jeanology. More specifically, <strong>has acquired the company's 39% from the company<\/strong> through its <strong>private equity fund CEP IV A8<\/strong>. Financial details of the transaction have not been made public.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As mentioned by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.larazon.es\/local\/comunidad-valenciana\/jeanologia-da-entrada-en-su-capital-a-the-carlyle-group-e-inicia-un-plan-estrategico-para-desintoxicar-la-industria-textil-en-los-proximos-5-anos-ME22374383\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">La Raz\u00f3n<\/a>Jeanolog\u00eda has embarked on an international expansion plan, with the aim of <strong>doubling its investment in R&amp;D<\/strong> in the next three years. Enrique Silla, CEO of Jeanolog\u00eda, commented on the operation: \"Our goal is to eliminate all waste from the textile industry by 2023, turning traditional blue jeans into an industrial and technological benchmark for a better world.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Venta_de_empresas_a_nivel_internacional\"><\/span>Selling companies internationally<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We analyse the most important sales of companies in the global Textile Tech sector:<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_Helly_Hansen\"><\/span>1. Helly Hansen<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC) announced on 18 March 2018 that it had signed a <strong>agreement to purchase<\/strong> of Helly Hansen. The deal was valued at USD 985 million, assuming approximately USD 50 million of operating debt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Helly Hansen is a sportswear and workwear brand based in Oslo, Norway. It was founded in 1877 and is well known for its <strong>professional quality equipment, innovative product design and technical performance<\/strong>. Helly Hansen designs and delivers products used by outdoor professionals and enthusiasts worldwide within its core categories of sailing, skiing, mountaineering, rainwear and workwear.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One of their best known products is Helly Tech, a waterproof and breathable outer shell. Its membrane allows water molecules to be wicked away, while sweat vapour passes through it, keeping the wearer dry from the outside and comfortable from the inside.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The workwear and outdoor apparel categories are central to CTC's retail advertising and, through Mark's and FGL, <strong>the company has had a long history with Helly Hansen as one of its main customers.<\/strong> \"For more than ten years, Helly Hansen has been exceptional with CTC and this acquisition will strengthen our range across all of our banners,\" said Stephen Wetmore, president and CEO of CTC.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_James_Dewhurst\"><\/span>James Dewhurst<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Founded in 1933, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jamesdewhurst.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">James Dewhurst<\/a> is a textile company that <strong>designs and manufactures high-performance reinforcement fabrics<\/strong>. This Altham, UK company has become one of the world's largest manufacturers of flexible reinforcement materials.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On 31 August 2017, the following took place <strong>the sale of the 100%<\/strong> from James Dewhurst to <a href=\"https:\/\/sioen.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sioen Industries<\/a>. This transaction was worth \u00a344 million. Sioen is an expert in the market for coated technical textiles and technical garments, protecting people and their belongings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With the acquisition, Veranneman Technical Textiles, a division of Sioen Industries, strengthened its position in the market for reinforcing textiles and completed its product range.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Rutland_Plastic_Technologies\"><\/span>3. Rutland Plastic Technologies<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rutlandinc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rutland Plastic Technologies<\/a> is a brand of <strong>special inks for the textile industry<\/strong> and supplier of plastic coatings for commercial and industrial applications. It has more than 50 years of experience in the industry, having been founded in 1962 in Pineville, USA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">9 June 2017 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.polyone.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">PolyOne Corporation<\/a> announced <strong>the acquisition of Rutland<\/strong>The deal will expand the company's portfolio of specialised colour, additive and ink solutions. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\"PolyOne is a trusted resource for dynamic and innovative industries, where colour serves as the ultimate expression of consumer preferences,\" said Robert M.
