Experts agree that the future of dentistry is digital. From practice management to digital radiography and the most advanced and specialised cone beam technologies and CAD\/CAM systems.<\/p>\n

On the investment side, this news has brought investors' attention. Venture capital funds have disbursed $ 146 million so far this year in dental companies. Last year, they spent $ 326 million on 38 deals, an incredible year for VCs.<\/p>\n

The dental market in Spain consists of more than 800 companies and, according to figures provided by Fenin (Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies), generates a value of 713 million euros, a figure that is 8.7% more than the previous year.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Analysis of investment in Createch Medical<\/span><\/h2>\n

Straumann, a Swiss company specialising in implants, restoration and regenerative dentistry, has become the sole shareholder of the Spanish company Createch Medical, after acquiring the 70% of the company it did not already own for approximately CH 14M. The Swiss group also intends to increase its current workforce of around fifty highly qualified professionals in order to respond to the expected increase in activity.<\/p>\n

In addition to improving equipment, increasing the workforce and strengthening R&D, Straumann plans to expand its international presence for Createch Medical. Europe is already a successful market, to which 70% of its exports are directed, and the challenge now lies in other destinations such as the United States or Japan.<\/p>\n

Createch Medical<\/a>based in Mendaro, Guip\u00fazcoa, is dedicated to the manufacture of dental and maxillofacial prostheses using CAM\/CAD technology.<\/p>\n

Straumann<\/a> is the world's leading dental company in implant, restorative and regenerative dentistry. Straumann researches, develops and manufactures dental implants, instruments, prosthetics and dental biomaterials for use in tooth replacement and restoration or to prevent tooth loss.<\/p>\n

Sun Dental Holdings<\/strong><\/a> of the United States is the leading dental technology and device manufacturing company. The company offers traditional manufacturing and a unified digital technology manufacturing platform that integrates 3D printing into the denture manufacturing process.<\/p>\n

Nobel Biocare<\/strong><\/a> is a company focused on implant-based dental restorations, from single-tooth to fully edentulous indications. We offer dental implant systems, high-precision individualised prosthetics and CAD\/CAM systems, diagnostics, treatment planning, guided surgery solutions and biomaterials.<\/p>\n
