<\/span>CreativeDrive acquires Decora<\/span><\/h2>\n

15 MAR 2018<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0CreativeDrive<\/a>, empresa con sede en EEUU dedicada a la creaci\u00f3n de contenido para moda y la decoraci\u00f3n, ha adquirido la empresa brasile\u00f1a\u00a0Decora, que se especializa en la creaci\u00f3n de escenarios de decoraci\u00f3n en 3D, por $100M.<\/p>\n

Based in Florian\u00f3polis, Decora automates the creation of 3D product models and scenarios that are used by e-commerces. In this way, customers can create environments and edit, add, delete and modify images dynamically on the platform itself.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Didi Chuxing acquires 99Taxis<\/span><\/h2>\n

03 JAN 2018<\/strong>\u00a0 The Chinese company\u00a0Didi Chuxing<\/a>which develops and manages an urban transport and mobility platform, has acquired control of the Brazilian company\u00a099Taxis<\/a>in the same sector. The value of the purchase is approximately $600M.<\/p>\n

The deal includes the acquisition of stakes in Riverwood Capital, Monashees Capital, Qualcomm Ventures, Tiger Global Management and SoftBank, as well as an equity injection in 99Taxis.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Movile receives $82M<\/span><\/h2>\n

08 DEC 2017<\/strong>\u00a0Movile, desarrollador de productos y servicios de interactividad m\u00f3vil, ha recibido una inyecci\u00f3n de capital de $82M de parte de dos de sus inversores, el grupo global de Internet y entretenimiento Naspers y el fondo de inversi\u00f3n con sede en Brasil Innova Capital.<\/p>\n

One of the main objectives of the injection will be to increase the company's stake in iFood, a food delivery company with a strong presence in Latin America.<\/p>\n

This is the second round Movile has closed in 2017. In June, the company received $53M from Naspers and Innova to invest in its shipping, ticketing and education segments.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Accor completes acquisition of BHG<\/span><\/h2>\n

22 NOV 2017<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Accor<\/a>, compa\u00f1\u00eda hotelera con sede en Francia, a trav\u00e9s de Hotelaria Accor Brasil, ha adquirido la plataforma de gesti\u00f3n hotelera\u00a0BHG, con sede en Brasil, por BRL200M.<\/p>\n

With the transaction, Accor will manage 17 hotels in the hands of BHG, which will invest around BRL300M over the next four years in the renovation and repositioning of the 17 units that will progressively receive Accor flags.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Aloo Telecom receives $75M<\/span><\/h2>\n

28 AUG 2017<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Aloo Telecom, empresa de telecomunicaciones con sede en Brasil, ha recibido $75M del fondo de capital riesgo Cartesian Capital Group, con sede en Brasil, a cambio de una participaci\u00f3n del 33,8%.<\/p>\n

Aloo Telecom, founded in 2003 in Alagoas, has more than 3,000 corporate clients in the public and private sectors, already covering 14 states.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Telef\u00f3nica Brazil acquires Terra Networks Brazil<\/span><\/h2>\n

03 JUL 2017<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Telef\u00f3nica Brasil\u00a0ha adquirido, a trav\u00e9s de su filial Telef\u00f3nica Data, la participaci\u00f3n de SP Telecomunica\u00e7\u00f5es en\u00a0Terra Networks Brazil<\/a>. The value of the deal amounts to BRL250M.<\/p>\n

Terra Networks Brazil manages the Terra portal and provides digital and advertising services. The objective of this operation is to expand and integrate Telef\u00f3nica Data's commercial offering of digital services.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Boston Scientific acquires Symetis<\/span><\/h2>\n

15 MAY 2017<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Boston Scientific<\/a>, empresa estadounidense especializada en el desarrollo de soluciones del sector de la salud, ha adquirido\u00a0Symetis, un fabricante de v\u00e1lvulas a\u00f3rticas. El valor de la transacci\u00f3n es de $435M.<\/p>\n

Symetis is a Brazilian company focused on minimally invasive transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) devices, which recently acquired Acurate, a company that also specialises in the production of aortic valves.<\/p>\n

The purchase allows Symetis to become part of the Boston Scientific Interventional Cardiology division, which will immediately begin selling Acurate valve systems in Europe and other countries outside the US.<\/p>\n

<\/span>99Taxis receives a capital injection of $100M<\/span><\/h2>\n

05 JAN 2017<\/strong>\u00a0 The Sao Paulo-based technology company,\u00a099Taxis<\/a>has received a $100M capital injection from Didi Chuxing (China), Riverwood Capital (US), Tiger Global (US) and US-based Qualcomm Ventures, and Brazil-based fund Monashees.<\/p>\n

99Taxis, founded in 2012, is an online taxi ordering platform. The startup is active in 550 cities in Brazil.<\/p>\n

Didi Chuxing will provide strategic support and advice in the areas of technology, product development, operations and business planning.<\/p>\n
