Founded in 2009, MedLumics <\/span>is a company that produces camera-based cardiac devices that provide a real-time view of the heart's condition. Its Argia\u00ae technology platform, based on integrated optics, combines electrical and optical components on a small silicon chip. These products enable physicians to improve diagnostic and therapeutic procedures through optical tissue assessment.<\/span><\/p>\n

This investment round will bring its main product to the market. AblaView is the company's main product and is aimed at the treatment of atrial fibrillation, in the field of arrhythmias. AblaView represents a qualitative leap in the treatment of this disease, as for the first time doctors will have a device that will allow them to see the effect of their therapies in real time and directly.<\/span><\/p>\n

The round was led by Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners (EdRIP), and the new investors also include Seroba Life Sciences and Innogest Capital as well as Ysios Capital Partners and Caixa Capital Risc. As a result of the capital increase, Olivier Litzka representing EdRIP, Claudio Rumazza for Innogest and James Greene for Seroba have joined the board together with the founder, Eduardo Margallo and the representative of Ysios Capital, Josep Llu\u00eds Sanfeliu.<\/span><\/p>\n
